Hi everyone, I wanted to share this fairly simple project. I love french restaurants, the food, the casual bistro feel, and the casual but elegant decor. One of my favorites is Cafe Campagne in the market in downtown Seattle. I love eating at the bar on a date with my husband. It's so romantic.

Anyhow, they have the prettiest wine bottle lamps made from magnum size bottles. I've always wanted one. Last New Year's Eve we shared a bottle of Washington finest at a friends party and I took the bottle home for "recycling". I found a kit at Lowe's to convert a bottle into a lamp and a nice linen shade. I used a cork as a finial, and voila, I had my lamp. Now I need to drink a magnum of french wine.
